Shannyb520 how are you doing with your progress? I have been in the same spot as you. Trust me when I say, it can be done. One of the biggest things, is just letting the symptoms be. What I have been doing lately to abate the symptoms getting worse, is just let them be what they are. I also try to focus on doing some sort of task, and reroute my focus every time that it wanders.

Hi Shannyb520, I just read your post and saw that you had no replies so I wanted you to know that someone cares. :) I'm not in any way a health professional, but I have experienced a change in my panic symptoms recently and freaked out as well. I haven't had constant hot flashes and sweaty palms, I only experience those for a few moments during bad panic attacks. It seems reasonable that it is related to your anxiety, especially if doctors said you're otherwise healthy. You mentioned that it's ruining your relationship, and I'm very sorry to hear that. In what ways is it harmful? I completely understand and feel the same way myself sometimes, but it seems that us anxious people tend to over-think things when other people don't see it as a huge deal.

I really hope you find relief and assurance that you're healthy. Try to keep reminding yourself that your symptoms are all related to anxiety, nothing else. It helps me to tell myself "it's just anxiety, I'm ok" and maybe do some other helpful self-talks to try and get rid of it. I know it's hard, but just keep focusing on getting past this trial, and give yourself hope that you can be anxiety and symptom free soon. :)

So I've been suffering with panic attacks for a few years but over the past 8-9 months I've developed new symptoms of anxiety that I never had before. I get the usually Short of breath racing heart dizziness  but lately my anxiety doesn't turn off. I have constant hot flashes sweaty palms and then have panick attacks in between with the old symptoms. My primary care started me on Celexa 20mg 6 weeks ago and refer s me to psych. My question is has anyone felt the constant hot flashes and sweaty palms. I'm talking first thing in the morning as soon as I wake up. I can't get out of my head and fear I have some sort of illness I've had multiple blood test over the pat few months and ER visits every doctor claims everything is normal but I feel out of body for most of the day. Very rarely to I have any relief! Is this really GAD like I'm being told? I'm turning into a hypochondriac and it's ruining my relationship with my fiancé.
