BTW, Ashley, how does a person indent when posting. I feel guilty for making the request of the late Davit. I must have been able to do it, but the spacebar doesn't work.

Stasi, Welcome, Some great books offering solace around grieving that I’ve read are: “H is For Hawk”(Helen Mcdonald); The Lonely City(Olivia Laing);”They Left Us Everything” by Plum Johnson. They’re good writers and echoed my many feelings. A current movie recommended was “Manchester by the Sea”, although it’s about a sibling death. I forgot the other current movie, but it would help to get out.

Welcome Stasi,

Interesting thought. Grieving is very important. Now that you have acknowledged this how have you let yourself grieve or heal?

I am new to the group and wanted to introduce myself.  I have dealt with  anxiety for many years but it has always been manageable.  I have experienced experienced so changes in my life.    I lost my father and stepped up to take care of things including my mother .   after my first panic attack I reflected on thoughts during the attack an realize some things.  One of those is that I feel I never was given time to grieve for my dad because I was too busy taking care of my mother.  i hope that this realization will help me begin to heal and deal with my panic issues.    thank you for your time!!
